We have spent two nights and a full day at the hotel to make sure we fully enjoyed all it has to offer: - The style of the buildings and decoration are wonderfully tasteful, very comfortable and match well with the natural environment - The food was delicious, with a menu à la carte. Great breakfast as well. When we were the only guests to have lunch, the chef composed our menu with us - The view on the lake and the environment are amazing. We did a nice walk along the lake and saw some animals like impalas, monkeys, birds etc. We even saw a big group of wildebeests just passing down our plunge pool! - I have to finish with what impressed us the most, which was the staff, always nearby but discreet, ready to answer all needs of the guests, they always made sure we were comfortable. On our last day, we had to get up and leave very early, everybody was on deck for check out and to pack us breakfast for the road Thank you to all the Manyara’s Secret team, we will keep great memories thanks to you

El Maasai Eco Boma & Lodge - All food included se encuentra en Makuyuni y ofrece alojamiento con estacionamiento privado gratuito. Por las mañanas se sirve un desayuno vegetariano. We have spent a night at Maasai Eco Boma, and honestly we regret not spending more nights here. All of the usual positive comments are here: beautiful boma and surroundings,well designed rooms with comfortable beds, tasty local food, and the friendliest staff that was always ready to help and share a couple of words and smiles. But the thing that we liked most about this property is a warm story behind it. This Eco Boma is a shared project of the local Maasai community living in one of the underdeveloped areas of Tanzania, that use this property as a mean of improving quality of life and to preserve the culture of the entire Maasai community. Everything here is local produced from the surrounding farms. Moreover the community invests the profits from this Boma into the community. They have already built a school, with the goal to achieve better education for local children. Currently they are transferring the funds in the water collection systems, to fight the worsening effects of the climate change as well in the construction of the local clinic. Will definitely come back, and recommend to others!
