Hotel Berlin, Berlin, a member of Radisson Individuals, hotel in Berlin

This hotel offers free Wi-Fi, a stylish lounge-bar and modern rooms with a flat-screen TV. The famous KaDeWe department store is a 5-minute walk away.

The hotel is just as amazing the last time I stayed 5 years ago with so amazing refurbishment since the last time I stayed. The self check I've seen so many complaints about however if you simply just have the details of your booking to type in its a breeze it's all about how you prepare yourself not blaming the hotel. I really like the self check in its simple and easy. My room was amazing. I just couldn't quite figure out the soundbar in the room with Bluetooth or whether it was connected to the tv. The breakfast is amazing, best scrambled eggs from a hotel I've had. Not horrible dry chunks but creamy butter scrambled eggs. It was delicious.

A Symbol of Modern Europe

Home to the iconic Brandenburg Gate and the famous Fernsehturm at Alexanderplatz, Berlin is a renowned global city of culture, commerce and politics. Its eclectic architecture is visual and exciting proof of its fascinating history.

In "Mitte", the city’s historical center, you can find the famous Museum Island with the exquisite Pergamon Museum, as well as popular cafés, restaurants and clubs. The nearby Potsdamer Platz, once divided in two by the Berlin Wall, features great examples of ultramodern architecture and stunning night illumination.

Berlin is the best place to try the famous Currywurst or jelly doughnuts, the Pfannkuchen. Explore the city’s busy nightlife, famous festivals and parades, or simply walk through charming neighborhoods like Prenzlauer Berg. Berlin is always full of things to do and see!

    We've visited Charlottenburg Palace.

We've visited Charlottenburg Palace. Suggest you to buy + ticket to see everything - very interesting. Berlin Cathedral is amazing with a short service (20) min, playing organ. If you wish to accent the Reichstag, there is an online booking with registration - do it in advance. Another option (if you are lucky!) is a small kiosk near entrance with a limited amount of tickets available on a day. It is good to visit during the first Sunday of the month, when the entry to the museums is free. Other ways the museums are brilliant, but expensive. Also look for an open day in Berlin, when plenty of the buildings open their door. We missed this event - it happened on 8 & 9 June this year.

Staying on the eastern side of Berlin was a good atmosphere.

Staying on the eastern side of Berlin was a good atmosphere. Shops, cafes and mostly good coffee for those Australians that are looking for a latte etc. Transport was excellent and access to Big Red Bus tours. Transport to the western side of Berlin was also easy. The food was ok and varied however not very healthy. The size of the meals were way too big. The western side was obviously upmarket and also beautiful however the eastern side had character. The history there is fantastic and must see and do.

Buy a Welcome Berlin Card or City Tour Card to save on train...

Buy a Welcome Berlin Card or City Tour Card to save on train fares. It allows unlimited hop-ons and hop-offs by S-bahn, U-bahn, trams and buses! There are 3 UNESCO world heritage site awards for Berlin but the easiest to get to is Museum Island. However, one of the best museums there ( Pergamon Museum) is closed for renovations until next year! For palaces, my favourites are Charlottenburg Palace in the city, or take the train to Postdam and visit Sanssouci Palace, Neues Palais, Cecilienhof Country House! Travelling is easy on S-bahn either on the local or regional (express) train. Connectivity in Berlin and surrounding areas is great!

Berlin is a fascinating city, with much history.

Berlin is a fascinating city, with much history. There are lots of amazing museums and galleries to visit and lots to learn! The people are cool and very friendly. There are many restaurants and cafes offering a wide range of choices from German to Vietnamese food. It is a cosmopolitan city and you can walk for miles in a day without problem, although the public transport is excellent. We were there for 3 nights and 4 full days, however, we will go back again as it was not possible to experience everything in that time.

Getting around Berlin is easy between walking and public transportation. You know the sites to see, Berlin wall, Jewish-Holocaust Memorial, Brandenburg gate, Reichstag, East Berlin (of course), Check-Point Charlie, boat tour around the city, numerous churches, and just spending time learning about this important place in history and lessons learned. Very cool vibe in this hip city with countless sidewalk cafes, and lost of beer!

The staff is very friendly, educated and helpful. The room was very comfortable, beds, sheets and pillows were clean and the room was very comfy. Room amenities were super, the staff was very helpful setting everything to my toddler, they assembled a crib, a changing diaper place and a litter for the dirty diapers. The location was also very good, near public transportation, supermarkets, DM and many restaurants around. From all the Hotels chains I've been to in Berlin, Meliá is by far the best one (I frequently visit Berlin).

As in all hotels now breakfast is too expensive, I used a little cafe on the corner. Shame some leisure facilities were closed due to Covid. Getting around was easy trams buses stop outside the hotel. Berlin Hbf station walkable or tram, where you can get to anywhere in Germany. Also purchase the 9euro travel ticket app, it’s available through the summer months, travel all over Germany with this ticket. Front bedrooms a little noisy with trams etc, but a/c was good & the windows kept the room quiet. But it was a great spot.

I didn't have much expectations, but all turned out perfcet with H2. The location is one of the best, in the transportation hub in Berlin. It's so easy to get anywhere by metro, bus and tram. The room is simple, but quite spacious and well maintained. The breakfast is nice. The breakfats area is very crowded but they refill everything really fast and the crowdness doesn't cause any delay or queue. Staffs are nice and overall it's a great value hotel. I will definitely come back.

The room was spacious and very clean, the towels nice and fluffy, staff was pleasant. The hotel is quite far out from Berlin city centre but there's a tram stop literally in front of the hotel and a metro stop 15 mins walk which is not too bad. Haven't had breakfast so can't comment on that, but had coffee from the hotel restaurant and that was nice. Our stay would have been perfect if it wasn't for the noise issue which I've explained below.

The breakfast was ok, what you would expect from a larger hotel. It was clean and with good parking space which is a must if you arrive by cer to Berlin. Quick service. Altough the hotel is located some way from the city centre there are excellent communications with the tram system, several lines stop 200 meters from the hotel. There are also areas nearby where you can have a run without crossing too many streets.

The hotel is wonderfuly located, quiet and beautiful. It was also one of the cheapest accomodations available in Berlin, so that makes its price/value amazing.

Super clean, quiet and comfortable environment, no matter the public area or the room. The breakfast was the best compared with other Germany hotels!
